Egg Harbor Happenings
Next time you visit Bay Point Inn you will be welcomed to a few new businesses that have opened in 2019. Our little village sure is growing and we can’t wait for you to check it out.
Fireside Restaurant
We are happy to welcome the Fireside Restaurant to Egg Harbor. The Schar family has moved their Ellison Bay restaurant to the Liberty Square building. Door County’s ONLY Supper Club with a Creole attitude and our guests have been raving about it!

Excutive Chef Blake Schar pushes creativity in Door County. Chef Schar is strong, solid and on-point with homey, classic comfort foods, showing favor to those warm dishes that Mom use to make. Although he is not shy to admit his bias for butter and bacon, don’t let the Midwest in him fool you. Chef Schar pulls on his formal training from Scottsdale Culinary Institute, searching for ways to incorporate Southwest flavors like chipotle peppers, cilantro, cumin, and ancho peppers without taking the bold flavors too far. Watch for formal elegance in his food as well as interesting twists on comfort foods.
Big Easy
Bagel & Beignet Shop is located next to Fireside Restaurant. Besides bagels and beignets, they also feature breakfast pizza, coffee and lattes.
